Community Association
The Mid-Sun Community Center is located in the neighbouring community of Midnapore. Serving both communities it has a variety of programs suited for the entire family. This debt-free facility is the home of programs for people of all ages, every day of the week. Kids play basketball, soccer, hockey and flag football, to name a few sports. Drop-in youth programs and teen dances attract a regular crowd of young people. Adults get together for Stampede, Valentine’s, Octoberfest and New Year’s functions. Pre-school, noon-hour and after school programs help meet family needs. An active group of seniors uses the Centre for drop-in, cards and volunteer activities.
