Designed with California living in mind, the architectural style of this community has a definite California flavour. The community is bounded by 68th Street N.E. to the West, McKnight Boulevard to the south, 64th Avenue to the North. Your family will love to swim, fish, skate and play in the 16 acre lake and two three acre parks which form the centrepiece of this community. If you want a strong community in the City close to the air-port and High Tech industrial areas Coral Springs would be worth a look.
Safety was a major concern when this neighbourhood was designed. There are no through routes in Coral Springs, and there are a lot of playground zones in effect. All of the public use facilities such as the Northeast Sports Complex are at the Western border of the community to keep traffic through the community at a minimum.
All homeowners belong to a Developer-run residents ' association and pay a yearly fee to maintain the lake and parks. Not only is the lake stocked with rainbow trout, there is a small on-site hatchery. The Residents Association contributes to the community by hosting an annual Stampede party, a Winterfest in February, a cornroast in September, and a Holloween dance in October. The community also hosts courses for the community residents.
Public Schools - Children are bussed to Colonel Mcleod elementary and Junior High in Regal Terrace, or Terry Fox School in Falconridge (year-round program). Sir Wilfrid Laurier Junior High in Radisson Heights and James Fowler High in Highwood.

There are three baseball diamonds, one soccer pitch and a tot lot and soccer field in a drypond near the communities South entrance.
There are no strip malls inside Coral Springs, but there are many choices just outside the community in Monterey Park, Falconridge and Castleridge.
