Established in 1978 the Community of Deer Run is a beautiful neighbourhood bordered on the east and south by the Fish Creek Provincial Park located on the banks of the Bow River. Access to Calgary is close at hand via the Bow Bottom Trail.

WOODLANDS

Woodlands was established in 1976. Bordering Fish Creek Provincial Park to the south and Canyon Meadows Golf course to the east.

A brand new community centre completed in September 2010 is the heart of this neighbourhood. The facility highlights tennis courts and an outdoor rink along with numerous community activities throughout the year.

Woodbine was established in 1980. Located at the western edge of the city, it borders the Tsuu T’ina First Nation reserve to the west and the Fish Creek Provincial Park to the south. Woodbine community and Woodlands community share a beautiful new community centre recently completed in September 2010. Parkland was established in 1974. It is bounded to the north by Canyon Meadows Drive, to the east by Bow Bottom Trail and to the south and west by Fish Creek Provincial Park
Parkland has it’s own community centre featuring an outdoor hockey ring and pleasure rink. The community Centre hosts groups from Brownies to Karate and is the heart of this family oriented community. Surrounded by wildlife Parkland is part of the Friends of Fish Creek Park which protects the area and does an annual river clean up.
