Fish Creek Park Communities

Fish Creek Park is one of North America's Largest Urban Parks.  It runs along the southern part of the city from Queensland in the East to Woodbine in the West. 

Chestermere Lake

Chestermere Lake is a 750 acre lake that you can waterski, sail, fish and swim in. In the winter you can snowmobile, x-country ski and ice fish there. Chestermere is Calgary's closest neighbour with only 5 miles between the city limit and the town of Chestermere.

Arbour Lake

This is one of Calgary's newest lake communities.  It has a 43 acre lake with 13 acres of private beach and park adjoining the lake.  There are homes available in this communitie from $200,000 to over $1 million.

Mahogany

Mohagany is Calgary's New Community of the Year.
The community of Mohagany will have Calgary's largest freshwater lake, Families will love the 265 acres of parks, wetlands, and lots of open spaces to enjoy.

Lake Bonavista

Lake Sundance

Lakke Sundance, which is a man-made lake, provides a major recreational amenity for the community. Opened in 1980 the lake itself is approximately 35 acres with parkland around the lake of approximately 25 acres. On average, Lake Sundance is 22 feet deep with its deepest point being 38 feet deep. With an endless supply of activities for the entire family, Lake Sundance proves to be the focal point of this great community. Rowboats, canoes and windsurfers are available for all resident members free of charge. The lake is stocked twice a year with rainbow trout for your fishing pleasure. Also available are several outdoor BBQs and picnic tables, sandy beach, four tennis courts, basketball court, volleyball court and horseshoe pits. Roller hockey or blading are enjoyed on the paved path around the park or in the paved rink. Winter activities include 3 hockey rinks, skating around an open air fire pit, tobogganing, ice fishing and there is even a large Christmas light display every year.
 

Lake Chaparral

Chaparral residents enjoy being a part of a master-planned neighbourhood that has provided schools, day-care facilities, and neighbourhood shopping. In 1997 a public transit route was established. Lake Chaparral is also located close to large regional shopping centres and Fish Creek Park, and construction of a small, community commercial area is currently underway which will provide many convenient services for residents. Downtown Calgary is easily accessed by Deerfoot Trail and Macleod Trail. Chapparal offers a complete range of home styles such as front attached, rear attached or detached garages, porches, weather vanes and stone masonry details. Resale homes range from $260,000 - $1,300,000.
